Perhaps our most unique product, this tincture contains 1000mg CBD with 300mg Astaxanthin (ASX). ASX is one of the most powerful antioxidents yet discovered. Being a powerful carotenoid (the same family as beta-keratin), astaxanthin has very protective properties for your eyes and skin. It wraps around the phospholipid bilayer of your skin and can protect you from sun damage. It is harvested from an algae that is stressed by light and secrets the ASX to wrap around its cells and protect it. ASX is fantastic for cardiovascular health, neuroprotection, skin health, and reducing oxidative stress and cellular damage. Users of this tincture report that they feel a mental clarity; cognitive functions improve and a cloudy mind becomes a focused one. This is our favorite tincture for daily use to help us get through the workday, maintain health and wellness, and weather the storm of everyday life.
Astaxanthin (ASX): As mentioned above, this carotenoid is harvested from algae that uses it to protect itself. It is the reason this tincture has a deep red hue, hence the name Life Blood. ASX is an extremely powerful antioxidant, which makes it the perfect ingredient to add to a tincture that is geared towards general health.

Black Pepper CO2 Extract: Contains Piperine which is often used to aid in the absorption of pharmaceuticals and natural active ingredients like Curcumin, which some studies claim has increased absorption by 2000%. We believe Piperine greatly aids in the absorption of CBD. Guineensine is another active component of black pepper which has been found to be an endocannabinoid reuptake inhibiter. This is one of the same therapeutic mechanisms of action as CBD, making it a ‘Cannabimimetic’. It therefore has potential to greatly extend the benefits of CBD. The volatile oil content (essential oils) which makes up 34% of our CO2 extract consists of β-Caryophyllene and Myrcene, two of the most therapeutic terpenes well researched.
